Happy December.

I've been taking a more quiet approach to things lately and it has been nice and soothing. I deleted instagram, facebook, and other social media apps from my phone. I've been sticking to my goals and allowing myself grace. I highly recommend it.

In writing news I've been plugging away at my current work in progress and my collab piece with another author. I've learned so much from sticking to my writing process. I've also been taking more chances in my writing and I think it's paying off.

In reading news I've been trying to open my horizons more but truthfully, I like what I like and my DNF finger is twitchy. I DNF'd a book just this weekend because of shenanigans on the very first page.

I've started doing First Fridays on my patreon and the next one is this friday, December 5th. It's free (you may have to create an account and join as a free member). Bring your snacks and a work-in-progress for a 45 minute writing sprint and chat afterwards.
